In Zugdidi, on Bukia Street, on the sixth floor of a multi-storey building, two children died in a fire that broke out late at night.
The emergency management service says the fire-rescue team arrived at the scene soon, but they found two teenagers dead, and they were able to pull out two more in time.
The emergency team took the children to the hospital and their lives are not in danger.
The emergency management service claims that the fire was localized in time and the fire did not spread to other floors.
According to the neighbors, the children were probably alone and sleeping at home at the time of the incident. The parents of the teenagers were not present.
The cause of the fire is currently unknown. An investigation has been started.
