From next year, intercity regular passenger transport will be carried out by M3 category vehicles (bus).
Based on the new regulation, which will come into force on June 1, 2025, it is prohibited to transport passengers by minibuses between Tbilisi, Kutaisi, Batumi, Zugdidi and Telavi. Therefore, this means that it will no longer be possible to transport passengers by minibuses in the direction of the mentioned cities.
The change will also affect long-distance passenger transportation in settlements in Georgia that are more than 150 km away.
