“The transport reform consists of many components. One of the directions is the development of taxis. We have been reforming taxis since 2018. In 2019, we implemented the second stage of this reform. This year, the third stage of the taxi reform will be launched on April 1st,” said the Mayor of Tbilisi, Kakha Kaladze.
He noted that tomorrow he will present their vision to the public in detail.
“From tomorrow, for a month and a half, we are running a fairly active information campaign. Information brochures will be distributed to taxi drivers. In addition, employees of all 11 service centers of the City Hall and hotline operators are trained and are ready to help and provide detailed information to any interested person,” he said.
