The Head of Infectious Diseases and AIDS Centre Tengiz Tsertsvadze stated he does not expect or support the tightening of restrictions, adding that it was somehow a thing of the past because it had led to an economic recession and deteriorating living standards.
“I expect the tightening of control over the enforcement of regulations. In this, I personally rebuke the country’s leadership that they do not strictly control the enforcement of regulations,” said Tsertsvadze.
He noted that he supports the so-called Introduction of green Covid-passports.
“Anyone who presents a so-called Green Covid Passport that has been vaccinated twice, or has been effected with Covid in the last 6 months, or presents a negative PCR test, will be given privileges to activities in certain areas. If you do not want to be vaccinated, If you do not want to be vaccinated, get used to some kind of discomfort, but no-one will punish you,” says Tsertsvadze.
