The organizer of Tbilisi Pride, Giorgi Tabagari, told TV Pirveli that Pride to be held every year and that it was not a one-time event.
“Temporarily refusing to take to the streets yesterday does not mean a all-end refusal to take to the streets. Tbilisi Pride will be held every year, it was not a one-time event. We face the same challenges every year, if once and for all the state does not take care of this violence and it is not be encouraged and orchestrated by them.
“We do not need to go anywhere secretly. We must be able and have the right to do so peacefully, non-violently go to the street, where we want to go,” he said.
