Tbilisi Police Department Chief Vazha Siradze has confirmed the recovery of a second body from the site of the partially collapsed residential building near Station Square.
Siradze noted that rescue operations are still underway. He reported that the incident resulted in two deaths—a man and a woman—while another woman was injured and transported to the hospital. Her condition is not considered life-threatening.
The collapse occurred earlier today, when the upper section of a residential building near Station Square in Tbilisi suddenly gave way.
