Tbilisi Mayor Kakha Kaladze is currently in Abu Dhabi and is unable to return to Georgia due to the ongoing situation, the Tbilisi City Hall press service said.
Based on the statement, Kaladze traveled to the United Arab Emirates over the weekend.
“The Mayor of Tbilisi was in Abu Dhabi over the weekend. Due to the current situation, he is currently unable to depart,” the City Hall press service said.
No additional details have been provided regarding the circumstances preventing his return.
