Tbilisi First Children’s Book Festival, within Framework of ‘Tbilisi – World Book Capital’

On December 11-12, the first Tbilisi Children’s Book Festival is to be held within the framework of “Tbilisi – World Book Capital” in the 3rd pavilion of “Expo Georgia.”

Almost all publishing houses and book distribution organizations operating in Georgia will take part in the festival, and will present children’s and juvenile literature for sale at a discount.

During the festival, children will have the opportunity to experience the pre-New Year-literary holiday: illustration drawing lessons, finger theater performances, and more. Also, actors disguised as fairy tale characters will tell tales.

On both days, there will be an animation film screening.

Tbilisi First Children’s Book Festival, in the framework of Tbilisi – World Book Capital, is held in partnership with the Georgian Association of Book Publishers and Distributors.

Under current regulations, it is not mandatory to present a green passport to attend festivals. The festival will be held in full compliance with the co-regulations.
