Tbilisi City Hall has announced that municipal services are operating in emergency mode as adverse weather conditions affect the capital. Specialized teams are working continuously to ensure road safety and maintain traffic flow across the city.
City Hall reported that roads are being treated with technical salt while snow removal is underway on both major arteries and secondary streets. The operations are being carried out by dozens of special-purpose vehicles operated by Tbilservice Group, alongside more than 150 employees deployed across the city.
In addition, representatives of district administrations in all ten districts of Tbilisi are actively monitoring road conditions to respond promptly to emerging issues.
City authorities are urging drivers to use winter tires during periods of heavy precipitation and to exercise caution while traveling. In the event of traffic disruptions or road-related problems, residents are advised to contact the Tbilservice Group hotline at 2 61 90 50 or Tbilisi City Hall’s hotline at 2 72 22 22.
