Tbilisi City Hall claims that some protesters removed dogs from Tbilisi shelter enclosures, including animals under medical supervision, raising concerns about public health risks. Access to these areas is strictly controlled due to sanitary and epidemiological requirements.

The statement also alleges that certain participants ignored instructions from shelter administration which had offered to provide guided access to the facility within legal procedures.

Authorities rejected claims circulating among protesters regarding the existence of a crematorium on the Tbilisi shelter’s premises, stating that no such facility operates on site. The municipality further emphasized that the shelter complies with all relevant sanitary standards.

City Hall urged citizens and media representatives to respect legal boundaries, noting that unauthorized entry into administrative facilities constitutes a violation subject to legal consequences.
