Tbilisi City Hall has announced the opening of applications for its fall semester tuition funding project for the 2025–2026 academic year. The program, which officially opened on September 3, will remain available to students until December 20, 2025.
Mayor Kakha Kaladze mentioned the importance of the initiative during a municipal government session, pointing out its role in ensuring access to education for students facing financial and social challenges.
The ‘Student Financing Program’ offers tuition support to three primary groups: socially vulnerable students, members of large families and students with disabilities. The amount of funding is determined by a student’s academic performance.
Kaladze stated that the program has already supported 19,000 socially vulnerable students, along with nearly 4,000 students from large families and those with disabilities. “Through this program, we are helping thousands of young people continue their education and build their future,” he said.
