TBC Bank has received another major international recognition, being named the Most Technological Bank in Central and Eastern Europe at the prestigious The Banker Technology Awards 2026.

The Banker Technology Awards celebrate the world’s most advanced and impactful financial technology initiatives—transformative projects that accelerate innovation in the financial services industry and significantly enhance customer experience.

This recognition once again highlights TBC’s continuous commitment to improving its digital ecosystem and simplifying everyday life for its customers through innovative technology.

With approximately a 40% market share in Georgia and 1.3 million active digital users per month, TBC’s digital banking platform has become an essential part of daily life. Today, more than 80% of retail transactions are conducted online, while real-time loan approval processes have been reduced from several days to just minutes.

At this year’s awards, The Banker specifically recognized three of TBC’s key innovations:

  • Instant business onboarding, enabling registration in the Business Mobile Banking app in just 30 seconds;
  • AI-powered lending solutions for self-employed customers;
  • Instant foreign currency transfers.

TBC continues to drive innovation, set new standards in digital financial services, and deliver user-centric experiences that make everyday banking simpler and more accessible.
