TBC Bank has introduced another innovative product designed to make customers’ daily financial transactions faster and more convenient. The new QR Transfer service streamlines the process of sending and receiving money, eliminating the need to manually enter or share bank account details.
With QR Transfer, recipients no longer need to dictate or copy their account number or personal ID, while senders avoid the hassle of double-checking account details and entering data manually. Instead, individual customers can simply open the TBC Mobile Bank app, access their IBAN account, and generate a QR code on the spot. The sender scans the code, and the transfer is completed instantly, with funds credited to the recipient’s account in real time.
After scanning the QR code, users are redirected to a dedicated payment page where they can choose their preferred transfer method — via Apple Pay, Google Pay, or any linked bank card. Transfers are available in GEL only and are processed without any commission fees.
The service is not limited to TBC customers. Clients of other Georgian banks can also make instant QR transfers using their bank cards or mobile banking applications.
QR Transfer is particularly convenient in environments such as open markets, tailoring shops, and small service businesses, where fast and seamless payments are essential.
