TBC Concept continues to support projects that give new life to Georgian cultural heritage, ensuring its preservation while presenting and promoting it to a wider audience in a contemporary format.
On May 27, TBC Concept will present a concert dedicated to the singer, composer, and poet Inola Gurgulia, whose work continues to preserve its emotional depth and unique aesthetic to this day.
Musicians from different generations, for whom Inola’s work has always played an important role in their repertoires, will perform her songs during the evening:
Ia Shugliashvili, Dato Shugliashvili, Tamar Tolordava, Temur Maisashvili,
Nini Nutsubidze, Kato Kvaratskhelia, Nodariko Khutsishvili, Sopo Batilashvili,
Maia Jabua, Eka Kakhiani, Tamriko Chokhonelidze, Rezo Kiknadze, Luka Topuria, and Nikala Zubiashvili.
With the support of TBC Concept, and together with Inola Gurgulia’s family, 100 unique archival audio recordings by Inola have been brought together in a limited-edition vinyl collection. Some of these recordings had previously been unknown to the wider public. The collection is based on rare reel-to-reel tape recordings preserved by the family, featuring Inola Gurgulia performing her own songs. Guests attending the concert dedicated to Inola Gurgulia’s artistic legacy will hear songs from these albums.
