The people of Batumi are once again out on the streets in protest at their government’s foreign policy U-turn. Students in particular make up the crowd, though citizens of all ages can be seen.
Numerous schools and universities in the Autonomous Republic of Adjara, a political-administrative region of Georgia, were on strike today and demonstrating.
They demand free and fair elections and the return of Georgia to the EU accession path.
