In Tbilisi, traffic restrictions from 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM and from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM will apply to distribution vehicles, alongside other large vehicles, within city limits.
As Tbilisi Mayor Kakha Kaladze announced during a municipal government meeting, distributors were previously granted a grace period, but starting January 1 of next year, the restrictions will extend to this category of vehicles as well.
He added that the regulation specifically targets N2 and N3 category vehicles used for distribution and does not apply to M2 category vehicles.
“We emphasize once again that the restriction applies only during the hours of 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM and 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, which are the peak traffic times in the city. There are no restrictions during the rest of the day, and no additional restrictions are planned,” the mayor clarified.
