The Speaker of the Parliament of Georgia Shalva Papuashvili spoke at the meeting of the Bureau of Parliament and addressed the representatives of the opposition, mentioning the 2020 elections, after which, as the speaker notes, some people were misled by propaganda that suggested the elections were rigged.
“We remember the rallies, we remember the announcements, but we saw that they couldn’t hide the truth. Here too, there is propaganda, as if we are adopting a Russian law, and this is not the first hearing, as if there will be no Venice Commission. People see and will see all this. This propaganda bubble, like any other propaganda bubble, will burst and, in the end, trust in you will be shaken, as it was shaken in other times, and that’s why I tell you, instead of propaganda, work on the content,” Papuashvili told the opposition parties.
