“We must respect the institutions. It is the prerogative of the Prime Minister to inform the public about relevant news regarding this matter. As for Giorgi Amilakhvari, he is a person who has dedicated his entire professional career to the education system and has great experience in this regard,” said Shalva Papuashvili, Chairman of the Parliament of Georgia.
He noted that Amilakhvari was the person in the management team who was competent in education matters.
“Not only in our team, but he also is a person with special competence in this regard in the Parliament. As for the decision, it is the prerogative of the Prime Minister,” said Papuashvili.
Today, the Prime Minister of Georgia will introduce the new Minister of Education and Science today.
