On the one-year anniversary of the start of Russia’s full-scale war in Ukraine, a solidarity rally is being held near the Parliament building in central Tbilisi.
Ukrainians living in Georgia who fled the war joined the rally, expressing hope that the war will end soon.
They first gathered at the Rustaveli metro station and marched towards the area adjacent to the Parliament.
“We’ve joined the rally to show that everything is not simple for us, we have to come out and talk about it. We can’t be silent, we have to show the whole world what is happening. Too many people are suffering both spiritually and physically. We believe that it will end soon with the victory of Ukraine,” they claimed.
