GD Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze met with US Senator Steve Daines, a member of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, to discuss deepening US-Georgia relations, reads a statement shared on the senator’s X account.
Daines emphasized Georgia’s key role in promoting peace and prosperity in the Caucasus region and beyond. He also strongly encouraged the Georgian government to work closely with former President Donald Trump and his administration to advance shared economic and security interests.
Senator Daines arrived in Georgia earlier today as part of his official visit.
