“I am going to head the political activity committee of the “National Movement”, so to speak, the board, if the ordinary members of the party support it, – the former president of Georgia, Mikheil Saakashvili, said this during the court proceedings from the “Vivamedi” clinic.
He claimed that he intends to fight on the “front line” in the upcoming parliamentary elections, because “this is where the fate of Georgia’s future is decided.”
“I intend to head the “National Movement” political activity committee, so to speak, the board, to be the chairman of this board if the ordinary members of the party support it. This board will include party leaders, but also many socially active figures. I am ready to be absolutely at the front line of our political struggle in these elections, because the issue of Georgia’s presence or non-existence is decided here, whether we will have a future or not, or if this future is hopelessly lost,” said Mikheil Saakashvili.
