The former president of Georgia, Mikheil Saakashvili, speaking to Sky News, stated that he is facing multiple organ failure.
Sky News reports that they were refused entry to the hospital, but Mikheil Saakashvili was given questions through his lawyer and they received handwritten answers.
When asked how close he is to death, Saakashvili answered: “Initially, I was 120 kilograms, now I am 64, if I become less than 60, the doctors predict polyorgan failure,” the ex-president said. “I’m in bed all the time, my bones are dissolving and it’s causing unbearable pain,” he added.
In that interview with Sky News, he also sent a message to the thousands of people who protested the bills on foreign agents.
“Be very alert, be ready to mobilize in the shortest possible time due to the revenge of the oligarchic regime,” wrote Saakashvili.
