Progress is being made in negotiations related to Ukraine, said Kirill Dmitriev, Russia’s presidential special representative.
“Positive progress is being observed. However, European and British militarists are trying to derail this process. The more they attempt to obstruct it, the more progress we see,” Dmitriev said.
He also stated that efforts are underway to restore economic cooperation between Russia and the United States.
“We are actively working with the Trump administration to restore economic cooperation between Russia and the United States, including within the framework of the Russia–US economic cooperation group. The meetings are proceeding positively,” Dmitriev said.
The comments come amid ongoing international discussions over the war in Ukraine and broader efforts to address political and economic relations between Moscow and Washington.
