Russia and Ukraine carried out large-scale drone attacks against each other overnight from Wednesday into Thursday, marking one of the most intense aerial exchanges in recent weeks.
Ukraine’s Air Force says Russia launched 131 long-range drones overnight. Of these, 106 were intercepted or electronically suppressed by Ukrainian air defenses. Despite the high interception rate, 22 drones struck targets across 15 different locations, causing damage in several regions.
Ukrainian authorities continue to assess the impact of the attacks as air defense operations remain ongoing.
