The first draft of the Strategy for Transforming Georgia into a Multifunctional Regional Hub, which has been developed by one of the largest financial groups of the world – Rothschild & Co – is now readily available.
It was presented by Arielle Malard de Rothschild, Managing Director of Rothschild & Co to Irakli Garibashvili, Prime Minister of Georgia today. The strategy includes specific projects and steps leading to the transformation of Georgia into a multi-functional regional hub.
Key priorities of the strategy are the attraction of foreign direct investments (FDI), the creation of new employment opportunities, the introduction of modern financial and technological innovations, the promotion of robust financial centers, and the development of the capital market in the country.
Garibashvili once again confirmed the full readiness and commitment towards implementing the projects laid out in the Strategy in the most efficient and effective manner.
The meeting was attended by Pierre Adeline and Ella Trad of Rothschild & Co; Stefan Liniger, CEO of KAISER PARTNER and Tilla Caveng of KAISER PARTNER.
An agreement by and between Rothschild & Co and the Government of Georgia on the development of a strategy for the transformation of the country into a multifunctional regional hub was signed by the Prime Minister of Georgia during his visit to Brussels.
