In the Gudamakari administrative unit, on the Oshpiteli-Gudamakari road section, a slope collapsed due to heavy rainfall. 22 villages of Gudamakari are currently cut off from the outside world.
Special equipment is mobilized at the scene, however, there is still a danger of rock falls, so cleaning work has yet to begin, Dusheti Municipality reports.
The municipality has already asked Engineering Geologists and experts for a risk assessment, as well as the Levan Samkharauli National Forensics Bureau for assistance and the National Environment Agency for relevant recommendations.
