Georgia’s riot police, following over 10 minutes of forewarning, have begun clearing the area around the parliament building, using water cannons and pepper spray.
Groups of special forces are chasing and catching protesters along Rustaveli Avenue. Some demonstrators continue to throw fireworks at the law enforcers.
