Starting today, April 2, from 18:00 local time, people over the age of 55 will have an opportunity to register for the vaccination against coronavirus, Deputy Minister of Health of Georgia, Tamar Gabunia announced. Citizens over the age of 55 will be able to take participate in the vaccination process from April 5.
Registration is possible on the Coronavirus Vaccination Platform, Booking.Moh.Gov.Ge
Presently, vaccination is possible in Georgia with two types of vaccines – ‘Pfizer’ and ‘AstraZeneca.’ Chinese vaccine ‘Sinopharm’ is planned to be imported to the country on April 3.
Vaccination in Georgia started on March 15. Based on the data available at the moment, a total of 8 909 citizens have been vaccinated in the country so far.
