Protest to be Held Today at Belarus Embassy Tbilisi on 2nd Anniversary of Presidential Elections Fraud
Today, August 9, is two years since another seizure of power in Belarus, a day which changed the lives of many, some of whom are no longer with us.On this day, all Belarusian diaspora of the world will gather for the “Day of Dignity” to remember for themselves and tell the whole world how everything happened on that day and what is going on there now.

“Violence, torture, murder… Destruction of everything related to our national values: culture, language, history. But we must remember who we are. Now, more than ever, we must revive what the traitorous government wants to destroy,” say the Belarusians of Tbilisi, who will also gather for the Day of Dignity.

Belarusians and their supporters are invited to meet today at 17.00 near the Embassy of the Republic of Belarus in Tbilisi, from which they will march to the Parliament of Georgia.

“For those who cannot make it to the start, we suggest starting to gather near the Parliament at 19:00,” the organizers write. “At 19:30 we invite you to join the “My Prison Cell” solidarity event, which will be also held in front of the Parliament.”
