On October 27, within the framework of “Tbilisi – World Book Capital,” organized by the Georgian Association of Book Publishers and Distributors, the project “Authors in Schools” is being implemented in Tbilisi public schools for 8th-11th grade students.
The aim of the project is to get young readers better acquainted with modern Georgian literature and authors, to learn more about literary processes, to get closer to the world of books, and to develop the habit of going to the library. Also, through face-to-face interviews with authors, they will learn about the current processes in world literature and various fields of art, ask interesting questions, get answers and express their opinions.
The project goal is that the authors’ presence will help them become true readers, learn to understand fictional text correctly, and be more creative.
The project is implemented in collaboration with the Association of Book Publishers and Distributors.
