“We must categorically condemn the referendums that are being held today in eastern Ukraine, because we know what referendums mean and can be when they are held in the occupied territory and in the conditions of this war. This is an extremely cynical action of Russia, which is completely unacceptable for us, the world and civilized people!” said the President of Georgia.
For information, in Donetsk, Luhansk, Kherson and Zaporozhye districts of Ukraine, the so-called voting process for referendums ends today. “Field Election Commission” collected votes during the previous four days.
The representatives of the occupation authorities claim that the “referendum” was well-conducted in all four districts, since the “voter turnout” exceeded the 50 percent threshold everywhere.
According to their reports, as of Monday night, “voter turnout” was 86.89% in Donetsk, 83.61% in Luhansk, 63.58% in Kherson, and 66.43% in Zaporozhye.
