This is a big lie and does harm, – said President Salome Zurabishvili in a speech on the occasion of the Day of the Defense Forces of Georgia.
Zurabishvili calls the propaganda of “Georgian Dream” false and harmful, as it suggests Georgia’s western partners are “inviting the country to an adventure or a confrontation.” Although she did not directly mention the ruling party and its leaders, the context and content of the statement clearly shows that she is referring to the government representatives.
In her speech, the President claimed that everyone knows well who is the restless enemy of Georgia’s statehood and independence is.
“The Georgian army knows very well who is the enemy and who is the partner, who tried to destroy us and who helped us to form the modern defense forces. The Georgian army knows best why we fought in international missions, making our contribution and worthy contribution to global security. How many of our soldiers died with dignity for this humanitarian goal – the fight against terrorism?
