The President of the Republic of Iceland, Guðni Jóhansson, who is on an official visit to Georgia, is meeting with the President of Georgia, Salome Zurabishvili. Before that, an official welcoming ceremony of the guest was held in the Orbeliani Palace.
The face-to-face meeting of the presidents, after which the parties will hold an audience in an extended format, is taking place in the Administration of the President. After the meeting, a briefing of the presidents of the two countries is planned.
The President of Iceland is on a three-day visit to Georgia. Within the framework of the visit, meetings are planned with Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze, Speaker of the Parliament Shalva Papuashvili, as well as a Georgia-Iceland business meeting in the round table format.
Within the framework of the visit, the President of Iceland, Guðni Jóhansson, will visit the occupation line.
