The process of voting in the parliamentary elections of Georgia has ended. At 20:00, Georgia’s polling stations were closed. Now the election results are being counted.
The voting process in Georgia started on October 26, at 8 o’clock in the morning. 18 electoral entities participated in the parliamentary elections.
For the first time in the history of Georgia, the citizens of the country are electing 150 deputies of the Parliament only through the proportional system.
The mandates of the parliament will be distributed to those political parties that receive at least 5% of the votes of the voters participating in the elections.
