The person who attacked Zura Japaridze, the leader of the Girchi – More Freedom party, has been arrested.
Japaridze was informed by the police about the arrest of his attacker and is on his way to Gori for identification purposes.
Zurab Japaridze, the leader of Girchi – More Freedom, was attacked in Gori, near a Smart supermarket. As a result of the attack, Japaridze received an injury near his eye.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs launched an investigation into the incident under Article 126 of the Civil Code, which pertains to violence.
