“I was recently in Austria. During the conversation with my colleague, we once again discussed the current situation in Europe and the current dynamics in the world, and what process is taking place in the world. Against the background of the war in Ukraine, a very difficult situation has been created in Europe: inflation, high prices, problems created in supply, and logistics, as well as serious problems in the supply of food products to less developed and poor countries,” said the Prime Minister of Georgia, Irakli Garibashvili.
He added that experts and world leaders are talking about the fact that the world may be on the verge of famine, especially in poor countries.
“When the economy in Europe and the whole world is heading towards recession, we are maintaining double-digit economic growth, peace, stability. All these things that I have just listed are the merits of our team. Of course, this needs to be maintained. We should be satisfied with this, we should continue to work and protect the interests of our people with increased pace, energy, and responsibility. This should be our main task and motivation,” Garibashvili said.
