Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze will nominate a new Health Minister at the government meeting on Monday, March 11, said Mamuka Mdinaradze, leader of the parliamentary majority.
As Mdinaradze remarked, the PM had already made his decision. He did not elaborate on the selected person or disclose the candidate’s name.
Zurab Azarashvili, Georgian Minister of IDPs, Labor, Health and Social Affairs, resigned on March 1. Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze said the medical community had recently expressed discontent over communication with the Minister of Health Zurab Azarashvili.
