Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze thanks members of the Georgian national football team for playing honorably and scoring the country’s first-ever goal at the European Championship.
The Head of Government attended the national team’s inaugural match at the European Championship in the company of the Cabinet Members and Tbilisi Mayor Kakha Kaladze.
“A big thank you to the boys for playing so honorably! Thank you for the first-ever goal at the European Championship! Only luck prevented us today from collecting one point! Everything is still ahead!” the Prime Minister says.
Georgia’s national team lose against Turkey in their first match at the European Championship on June 18.
