Irakli Garibashvili, Prime Minister of Georgia met Meir Shamir, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and main shareholder of Mivtach Shamir Holdings Ltd today.
Parties discussed the investment potential of the country and prospects of future cooperation, inter alia including the energy and agriculture sectors.
The discussion was also related to the strategically significant location of Georgia, the rising volume of international visitors and tax incentives offered by the country.
Mivtach Shamir is one of the largest holdings operating on the real estate market of Israel, also engaged in the sectors of energy, finance and technologies for over 30 years. The company has a presence in India and USA as well.
The meeting held at the Government Administration was attended by Doron Grupper, Partner of Mivtach Shamir in the Energy Sector and Shlomo Gigi, Expert on the Operation of Power Plants. Attendees from the Georgian side included Levan Davitashvili, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development (MESD) along with Romeo Mikautadze, Deputy Minister of MESD.
