Irakli Garibashvili, Prime Minister of Georgia met H.E. Ashot Smbatyan – Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Armenia to Georgia upon his appointment.
Introductory meeting was focused on the cooperation between the two countries. Dignitaries reviewed the kind neighborly relations currently existing between Georgia and Armenia, along with prospects of future cooperation.
Focus was made on the significance of peace and stability in the region. It was noted that Georgia stands ready to continue mediating between the neighboring nations.
Garibashvili congratulated Ashot Smbatyan on his appointment and wished every success in his endeavors.
