Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili, together with a delegation, has departed for the Republic of Turkey.
Within the scope of the visit, a face-to-face meeting between Irakli Garibashvili and Recep Tayyip Erdogan is scheduled.
The Head of Government will visit the city of Antakya, Hatay Province devastated by the recent earthquake, where the Georgian Interior Ministry’s rescue teams, together with the rescue services of different countries, are engaged in ongoing measures toward eliminating the consequences of the earthquake and in rescue efforts.
Led by the Prime Minister, the Georgian delegation includes Interior Minister Vakhtang Gomelauri, Chief of the State Security Service Grigol Liluashvili, Head of the Government Administration Revaz Javelidze, and Head of the Interior Ministry’s Emergency Management Service Teimuraz Mghebrishvili.
