“There is a very difficult situation in Ukraine, and today there is a very difficult situation in the world and in Europe. I want to remind everyone that the President of the United States of America and the leaders of the European countries have publicly appealed to their own citizens not to take part in the hostilities in Ukraine and to express this solidarity in another form,” said the Prime Minister of Georgia, Irakli Garibashvili.
He noted that the government is obliged to take care of every citizen and every step should be well thought out, weighed, and evaluated so that citizens and the country do not have additional problems in any way.
“Our main obligation is to maintain peace and stability in the country, which determines our prosperity. We have fought three times, my friends, we have fought three times since we regained independence. Enough is enough. We want to unite our country in a peaceful way. This is a reasonable, national policy, not by war and, even more so, by bringing our people into lost wars,” stated Garibashvili.
