“From today, each pensioner who is vaccinated before January 1 will receive a one-time pension supplement of GEL 200. The supplement will be issued after the first vaccination, on December 1,” said Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili.
He also noted that the so-called green passport will be activated from 1 December, meaning the following: a person has green status if he or she has been vaccinated twice, been tasted a 72-hour PCR test, or a 24-hour antigen test, or has been exposed to the coronavirus.
A person who has been infected with the coronavirus will have a green status. The green passport requirement will apply to citizens over the age of 18 as well as tourists.
“According to the decision of our council, citizens will be able to enter different facilities only on the principle of green passport. These are food outlets, entertainment centers, entertainment facilities, cinemas, opera, museums, concert halls, etc. We will also tell you that this requirement will apply only to visitors And not about the people working there,” Garibashvili said.
COVID Passports can be received at justice houses and service centers. The passport is free and one can get it without booking a visit.
