Part of ‘Home To Europe’ Rally Participants Remain Outside Gov’t Administration

Part of the participants of the rally ‘Home to Europe’ spent the night near the Government Administration building and are still staying there.

They are waiting for the start of the government session, which is scheduled for today, July 4.

The activists claim that their goal is to make Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili hear their voice, whose resignation they are demanding. Several hundred policemen are mobilized in the area, and the entrance to the administration is fenced.

There was a tension and controversy at the Administration building.

The law enforcers called the participants of the rally to disperse, which they did not obey. They moved from the area adjacent to the Government Administration directly in front of the building.

At the moment, the participants of the rally are continuing their protest by whistling and making noise. In addition, the organizers called on the protesters not to resist if they are arrested by the police, thus showing once again that the law enforcement officers perform political tasks.

The police are mobilized on the spot, and iron barricades have been erected right next to the government administration building.
