The members of the parliamentary opposition met with the COEST members (Working Party on Eastern Europe and Central Asia).
The parties discussed the current situation regarding the implementation of the 12-point recommendations proposed by the European Union for granting the candidate status to Georgia. The representatives of the parliamentary opposition introduced their vision to the EU guests regarding the implementation of the hereof recommendations.
“Regarding the 12 points, the civil sector, the opposition, and the entire pro-European spectrum are in agreement, and the only actor who does not agree with this is Georgian Dream, which is doing everything to somehow hinder our work. Georgian Dream should return to the April 19 agreement,” Giorgi Vashadze noted after the meeting.
