The Vice-Speaker of the Parliament, Levan Ioseliani said that the parliamentary delegation headed by Shalva Papuashvili is to leave for Ukraine today.
He emphasized the importance of the visit.
“We are leaving for Ukraine today and this will be a turning point in the very low level of Georgian-Ukrainian relations that exist today. The Ambassador has been called away from Georgia and these broken relations really need help. This visit will be an opportunity to correct the relations in a way that the Georgian and Ukrainian people deserve,” Ioseliani said.
The delegation will be headed by Parliament Speaker Shalva Papuashvili and includes vice-speakers – Davit Sergeenko, Archil Talakvadze, Levan Ioseliani, Ana Natsvlishvili, Vakhtang Megrelishvili, Khatuna Samnidze and Giorgi Khojevanishvili.
