Daughter of Paata Imnadze, Deputy Director of the Center for Disease Control, was vaccinated with Pfizer at the Infectious Diseases and AIDS Center.

Paata Imnadze also attended the process of vaccination and noted that his daughter, Lisi Imnadze was the only one in their family who had not been vaccinated, due to her pregnancy, she was waiting for the vaccine that is allowed for pregnant women.

“I am happy because all the members of my family have been vaccinated and I know that all we can do against this disease is to get vaccinated in order to protect our lives and our loved ones. I know that the vaccination process has started quite actively among pregnant women. Preparation and examination before vaccination are not necessary, it is important for the citizen to stay in the vaccination area after the vaccination, if there is a complication, to get help in the next few minutes. We are all afraid of anaphylactic shock, but we have four anaphylactic cases in half a million vaccinations,” Imnadze said.
