Ornithologists and birdwatchers have visited Adjara from around the world to observe migratory birds of prey, reported the Ajara Tourism Department.
Birdwatchers register birds of prey migrating over Adjara from Chakvi observation platforms on a daily basis.
Adjara ranks third in the world in terms of the number of migratory birds of prey, which has attracted ornithologists, birdwatchers, and ecotourists from around the world for years.
They observe birds of prey from Adjara from August 15 to October 15. Important locations for birdwatching are the villages of Sakhalvasho, Chaisubani, Chorokhi Delta, Batumi Seaside Park, and the port. where specialists observe migratory birds on a daily basis. Birdwatching is one of the most exciting tourism products in the region.
