According to Batumi City Hall, a strong wind blew down several trees in the city area, traffic on the central road connecting Batumi and Makhinjauri has been disrupted, and power transmission poles have been damaged in the said section.
Strong wind also damaged the parking lot near the main stadium of Batumi and caused problems and damaged houses in the neighboring Guria region; however, no casualties were reported there.
