The officers of Tbilisi Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs detained V.C. (born 1998), on the charge of premeditated murder. The committed crime envisions from 7 to 15 years of imprisonment.
The investigation established that on October 31, V.C. inflicted multiple body injuries with a knife on a foreign citizen, a transgender woman, A.G., employed in a Thai massage salon on Akhvlediani Street. She died on the spot.
The accused person also inflicted injuries to another transgender woman in the same cabin and fled the scene. The wounds inflicted to the second victim were not life-endangering.
The law enforcers, as a result of immediate investigative activities, arrested V.C. in Tbilisi.
Police seized the weapon of crime, a knife, as evidence.
Investigation into the fact of premeditated murder is in progress under Article 108 of the Criminal Code of Georgia, reports the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
